Mattress firmness simply refers to how soft or firm a mattress feels. Firmer mattresses generally deliver greater spinal support, which can help alleviate back pain, while the pressure relief provided by softer mattresses may be better for side sleepers. However, the ideal mattress firmness for you comes down to personal preference.

To clean your mattress, you can follow these instructions:

1. Remove the washable cover and machine wash as normal.
2. DO NOT Bleach
3. Air dry where possible
4. Vacuum the mattress surface (Remember to go over the sides as well)
5. Spot-clean the stain with a lightly damp cloth and mild detergent (e.g. dishwashing liquid)
6. Work your way from outside the stain towards the centre in a circular motion
7. If a bad odour is present from urine or sweat, fill in a spray bottle with a mixture of 3⁄4 cup water and 1⁄4 cup vinegar, spray and repeat Step 5.

Sprinkle baking powder on damp areas and let it absorb the wetness. Expect it to clump up after 30 minutes, then vacuum it.
